Faun along with her husband Lloyd were special supporters of Mission Church Fellowship. She enjoyed coming to camp and teaching the kids ceramics. We are retired in PA now so could not attend the memorial but we have many fond memories of our times with her.

Faun was quite a lady! I met her through Helen Hepp. Somehow, a hot air balloon ride sounded fun. Faun, Helen, and I went up to the Skagit Valley one spring Saturday. It was too windy to go up. The day was salvaged by exploring the area. We rturned later for the trip. Even though the tulip fields had been harvested, it was beautiful. Faun looked to be in her element - learning, having fun, and being adventerous.

i wish i could have been there today to share the wonderful memories of all the lives my grandma touched. i couldnt help but laugh while reading some of the stories. i had forgotten some of the things we use to do. my fondest is i learned to ride motorcycles on her mini bike, she and grandpa bought my first red honda 50 (after i saved half the money "ofcourse")ha ha, most came from them anyway. grandma was stern with me, but i know she loved me. i learned so much from her and grandpa. satsop will never be the same without dotsy. we all have wonderful tales to pass on, i know i will. say hello to gramps for me, he has been waiting for you...i love you grandma.

As a student at Satsop School "Dotsy" time was something to be anticipated. When we were finally excused to go I remember the pure joy of running out the door to wait and see what she had in mind for us that day. Dotsy was simply the best. She kept our minds and bodies busy in healthy fun everyday. As I grew older I was awed by her boundless energy. Many years later when I returned to Satsop School as a teacher the first day was filled with worried thoughts about my about my new responsibilities - until lunch time when I walked out that door and my feet crunched on that familiar gravel - I was suddenly transported back in time to Kick the Can, and so many other fun games that we played. Thanks for the memories Dotsy! You'll have everyone in heaven shaped up in no time!

Through an unfortunate family circumstance I came to live with the Dotson family in Satsop for about 1 1/2 years when I was two years old some sixty years ago.
After, I returned for many short "vacations" well into my teens. What was the big attraction? When I was young I thought it was the fun--camping at the beach, fishing in the creek, diving into the river swimming hole, homemade root beer. As an adult, I came to understand that it was more, much more than that. The big attraction for this little kid was the unconditional love of a real family- Loyd, Faun, Dugan and Patty. They were my "other" family and Faun was my "other" mom. I will always be thankful for her.

To all of Faun's family,
I met Faun in the late 80's when she joined the Olympian Hiking Club. What a great lady to hike with. She had a lot of great stories and knew a lot of history she was willing to share with us. Her trips to Nacotta were some of the best. She was a great lady and I sure will miss her.

Lee,
We are so sorry to read of the passing of your mother. If she was anything like yourself, she was a wonderful person.
We send our condolences and want you to know our thoughts are with you and your family.
I will always think of her on March 10th as my father, Mr Robert Eby, passed on the same day.
God Bless you and yours.

To the family of Faun: I was lucky enough to have hiked with Faun, eat her delicious pie's and Indian Fry Bread on many occassion's. She took us many places and was alway's a joy to be around. Her smile and hugs will be missed greatly. I know she will be welcomed with open arms to the great hiking trail in the sky where she will meet up with the other great people who have gone before her. She is a great lady.
